As a Climate Neutral Certified company since 2019, we've measured Avocado's annual cradle-to-consumer emissions, offset them by investing in climate change solutions, and started taking real action to reduce our emissions. That's why, through our partnerships with CERES and the American Sustainable Business Network, we also advocate for state and federal policies that support equitable solutions to the climate crisis.

PROJECT ZERO WASTE

We're proud to be certified by UL Solutions for a landfill diversion rate of 85%. That means only 15% of our manufacturing waste ends up in the landfill - we upcycle or recycle the rest. We are the first mattress and bedding company to achieve this. We're we aren't done yet. Our goal is at least a 90% diversion rate. Read more about Project Zero Waste.

OUR MISSION: RAISE THE BAR FOR SUSTAINABILITY

Sustainability never looked so good. Elegant and durable, our solid wood vases will add a touch of brightness to any room. Tell anyone who sees it that we make it with upcycled wood from our FSC-certified facility (C156318) in Los Angeles. Please note that these wood vases are not meant to hold water. They re perfect for dried arrangements and other decorative items. Our Zero Waste Collection is part of our mission to divert more than 90% of our waste from the landfill.

Solid Wood Construction We construct our Wood Vases with solid upcycled wood. Choose from four unique finishes.
Responsible Finishes We use an ECOS® wood stain from Belgium that conforms to CDPH 01350 (VOC emissions test taken at 11, 12, & 14 days for classroom and office use), as well ASTMD-4236, specifically concerning oral toxicity, skin irritation, and respiratory effects.
California Residents We operate an FSC®-certified woodshop - in a facility completely separate from our mattress factory, in Los Angeles - which produces wood dust. Read California's required Proposition 65 warning for wood dust.
