Our Malibu Wood Dresser is uncompromising. We use solid maple or walnut and matte-gold handles to build the four-drawer dresser. The natural patina of the wood delivers a warm, elegant beauty. Our craftsmanship includes soft-close plywood drawers and dovetail joints that provide exceptional quality and strength. We build it all in our facility in Los Angeles, where we marry traditional craftsmanship with state-of-the-art technology. We build the Malibu Dresser with the sustainability mission powering Avocado Green Brands at its forefront.

Solid Wood Construction Available in walnut or maple. The walnut build showcases the natural depth and unique grain patterns of the timber. Walnut is known for its complex colors, durability, and strength but does feature some variation in wood tone and color. For strength and durability, we use Baltic Birch Plywood drawers with dovetail joints. Plywood is also an eco-friendly choice because it minimizes waste and maximizes yield. Safe, Odorless Glues Our assembly utilizes Titebond® wood glues. They meet the requirements of ASTM D4236 for safe use with arts and crafts and have both been approved for indirect food contact. The finished bed is GREENGUARD Gold certified for low emissions. Maple meets the Formaldehyde-Free claim verification by UL Environment.

Includes Anti Tip-Over Hardware As of September 1, 2023, furniture manufacturers and retailers in the United States must comply with new furniture safety standards. Dressers, armoires, and other clothing storage furniture must meet stability standards to avoid injury and death from tip-overs and include anchor kits. As a result, this dresser must be attached to the wall with the included tip-over prevention hardware, according to the instructions. More information on Anchor It!, including generic instructions to protect children from tip-overs, is available online.
California Residents We operate our own woodshop - in a facility completely separate from our mattress factory, in Los Angeles - which produces wood dust. Read California's required Proposition 65 warning for wood dust.
