For a luxurious and premium finish, we use a soft, durable GOTS-certified organic cotton cover and inner liner. This durable textile provides an ideal exterior to our Organic Latex Wedge Pillow. Our organic cotton has received STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®: Class 1 certification (15.HIN.75800, Hohenstein HTTI) to screen for harmful substances as a result of processing, including banned substances, toxic chemicals, pesticides, and dyes. Even the green thread used in the stitching and logo embroidery is STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certified (94.0.6007, Hohenstein HTTI).

Most wedge pillows rely on polyester and rayon blends. We do not. Our Organic Latex Wedge Pillow features a luxurious and premium ticking made with soft, breathable GOTS-certified organic cotton (CU 863637) in a natural color. Organic cotton performs better, while at the same time, is healthier and more sustainable alternative to synthetic fibers.

We use GOLS-certified organic Dunlop latex in our wedges. We do not use polyurethane foam, a petrochemical product. We own GOLS-certified organic latex from co-owned farmer's societies and processing facilities in India and Guatemala, operating under the USDA's National Organic Program. It's made with 95% certified organic latex, the highest possible standard. Dunlop latex is naturally antimicrobial and cool, due to its natural open cell structure. It is processed in a GOLS-certfied organic facility in India that we also co-own.

To do this, place the wider end of the pillow near the thighs and the narrower end towards the feet. This position is particularly beneficial for those with varicose veins, swelling, or poor circulation.

The Avocado Organic Latex Wedge Pillow contains no chemical flame retardants, which are known to release VOCs and impact human health. (FYI: Pillows are not required to pass the Standard for the Flammability of Mattresses and Mattress Pads, issued by the CPSC. Therefore, it is logical that ignition sources should be kept safely away from any pillow that contains natural materials without the use of chemical flame retardants.)

Machine wash your cotton cover in cold water with an eco-friendly laundry detergent. Lay flat or hang to dry. Do not use bleach. Allow to dry completely before putting the cover back on your pillow.

| Tested for PFAS |
PFAS (Per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a group of man-made chemicals used in various industries worldwide. Known for their persistence in the environment and in the human body, they are often referred to as "forever chemicals." At Avocado, we're committed to ensuring our products are free from harmful levels of PFAS. Our latex wedge pillows have been rigorously tested using advanced techniques such as Liquid Chromatographic/Tandem Mass Spectrometer (LC/MS/MS) analysis and Gas Chromatography Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) analysis for 241 PFAS substances. This testing method is superior to generic organic fluorine screening tests, which can often be inaccurate and fail to detect specific PFAS compounds.
